Air Guitarist Coming to Town!

Ok, I know I haven't posted anything in ages even when I said I would - mea culpa - I've just been so busy with my job telling other people to blog more. But this is something you need to know about: legendary LA air guitarist 6-String General is going to be coming to Boston on Nov. 20th! And he's not just coming for a visit. He's going to be opening up for a captivating young lady named Ali Spagnola, whose entire raison d'etre is singing one-minute-long songs about beer! And/or drinking in general. And he is a General. So there you go: perfect synergy.

Here are the details:

  • Weds. Nov. 20th
  • Middle East Upstairs (this was not explicitly stated, but on the Middle East's website, they've got another show listed for the downstairs that night, and nothing in the upstairs)
  • 9:30pm
  • $5 - that's right, it's just 5 bucks!

This is 6-String:

And this is Ali Spagnola - to wit, her video about this whole shebang:

So now you know the deal. It's going to be a little air guitar family reunion! And it's definitely going to be a party. Not only does this lady go hard, but remember, 6-String is the man who stapled a sign to his bare chest at the US Air Guitar Western Semi-Finals in San Francisco. A man like that does not take partying lightly.

I expect to see every one of you there!
