My beautiful rock and roll friends, the announcement is out - at a record early time - of the basics of the 2016 US Air Guitar season! You can, and probably have, read the announcement on the US Air Guitar site, but if not, you can look it over right here.
It's early days yet, but one key part of that announcement is that this year, in a stunning break from tradition, one of the 5 semifinal competitions will be held in Boston! That, of course, is pending everything being booked successfully, but if it all works out, we'll be having a semifinal here, sometime mid-June to mid-July. But get your routines ready earlier, since the regular season will be starting much earlier.
The regular regular season will run from April 1 to the beginning of June, but at the end of this month, there will be a special qualifier... on a boat. All the details on that are in the US Air Guitar post, but just know that there will be opportunities to engage in rock and roll activities on the high seas. But stay with me, my point here is that we are looking at the first-ever Boston Semifinal this summer, and I for one could not be more excited about it.
