By which I mean that yours truly is going to the Northeast US Air Guitar Semi-Finals in NYC, taking place tomorrow night, but also that several Boston air guitarists of renown and infamy (ok, maybe not infamy) are going down as well, so Boston is going to be well represented.
Competing are:

- 2013 Boston qualifier winner, Rockupine
- 2013 Boston qualifier runner-up and actual Brooklyn resident, Jean-Luc Pickguard
- 2013 Boston qualifier organizer and MC, Captain Airhab
- and maybe more... stay tuned.
And that's just the people coming in from a Boston qualifying event! You'll also be seeing the first and second-place finishers from the Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Kansas City qualifiers, last year's victors from those cities if applicable, and the organizers of those qualifiers, all of whom are total badasses of shredditude. You'll also be seeing a half-time show featuring none other than your 2012 US Air Guitar Champion, Airistotle... and more.
It is going to be amazing and I'll be there screaming from the front row (seriously... elbows out, don't try to stop me), and I promise to take lots of non-cellphone pictures and post them when I get back!
